The Happiest Simchas Beis Hashoevah
Thousands of Seeach Sod students, residents and staff members celebrated a magnificent simchas beis hashoe’vah together with gedolei Yisrael, representatives of the Jewish community, public figures and a huge crowd of friends and well-wishers.
The huge celebration took place in the International Convention Center (Binyanei Haumah) and highlighted Seeach Sod’s very own choir, Shir Meyuchad, that left no eye dry.
Gedolim who honored the students with their participation included the geonim Rav Baruch Mordechai Ezrachi, the Rebbe of Erloy, the Rebbe of Stropkov, the Rishon LeTzion Rav Y. Yosef, Rav Dovid Lau, Rav Dovid Cohen, Rav Binyamin Finkel, Rav Nechemya Alter, Rav Dovid Alter, Rav Yaakov Cohen, Rav Yisrael Meir Druk, Rav Chaim Bunim Shatz, Rav Chanoch Kaminer, and Rav Yitzchak Katz.
Some public figures included MK Rabbi Aryeh Deri, Rabbi Yitzchak Goldknopf, Mayor of Jerusalem Mr. Moshe Leon, MK Rabbi Meir Porush, MK Rabbi Yisrael Eichler, MK Rabbi Yitzchak Pindrus, MK Rabbi Moshe Abutbul, Shas representatives Rabbi Yoni Mashriki and Rabbi Avraham Betzalel, and Deputy Mayor of Jerusalem Rabbi Tzvika Cohen.
