In the Ma’on (ages 1-3), there was a special family day for the mothers and siblings of our 17 toddlers.
The mothers were taught how to give massage to their toddlers and then each mother have her child a relaxing massage, with soft music in the background that created an emotional bonding between them. The mothers also participated in an aerobics class, a session with a dietician and of course delicious (and beautiful!) food with music and dancing! The toddlers and their siblings also had fun at our Gymboree, bouncing on an inflated moon-bounce, doing arts n’ crafts and also singing, dancing and having treats! Some of the time was spent together and some of the time the mothers were pampered in a different room while the siblings had fun with their special needs sister/brother…but there was no question that everyone was smiling by the end of the day!
