On Wednesday, Rosh Chodesh Sivan – a day known for spiritual readiness to receive the Torah – a moving and uplifting event took place as part of the “Olamos” program of the Seeach Sod network. The event was held under the framework of “Lev Avot”, a special initiative bringing together parents and family members to learn Torah side-by-side with their sons—students in the program.
The guest of honor was the revered Rosh Yeshiva, Maran HaGaon Rabbi Avraham Salim shlit”a, Rosh Yeshiva of Maor HaTorah and member of the Moetzet Chachmei HaTorah. His arrival stirred deep excitement, as he came to lend strength and encouragement to this unique Torah learning initiative—where even students with significant challenges are full participants in meaningful Torah study.
Rabbi Shimon Levy, CEO of Seeach Sod, welcomed the Rosh Yeshiva with words of thanks and blessing, acknowledging his efforts. He emphasized the special merit of Torah learned in this place—Torah of willpower, dedication, and love—and expressed hope that this learning would bring divine assistance and blessing to all yeshiva students, especially those always remembered in the Rosh Yeshiva’s prayers.
In an emotional address, the Rosh Yeshiva shared:
“Torah learned through struggle comes from a deeper place. Every student is a divine creation with a unique mission, and anyone who supports them is truly blessed.”
He blessed the students and their families with success in both spiritual and material realms.
Later, Rabbi Yonatan Sharim shlit”a, head of the “HaMesila” Talmud Torah network, spoke on behalf of the parents:
“As a father, I am deeply moved to see my son sitting and learning. The bond you have created here—between families and Torah—is unparalleled. The support we’ve received from Seeach Sod is a gift beyond measure.”
Joining the learning were chavrutot from the “Chedvat HaTorah” Yeshiva, who accompany the students weekly and bring warmth and light to the entire process.
Parents left the event not just moved, but uplifted by a powerful spiritual experience.
“This wasn’t just an emotional moment—it was a true Kabbalat HaTorah, with open hearts and illuminated souls.”
