A Dream Vacation!

The residents of our group homes enjoyed a fabulous vacation in Tzfat!

This year, our group home residents enjoyed a rejuvenating retreat in a stunning resort on Har Canaan, in the Tzfat mountainside. Each group home received their own villa, each one surrounded by lush lawns and with its own Jacuzzi.

Each group home had their own program, just like a real family going on vacation, although there were several major activities conducted jointly for all group homes in a large tent set up in the main garden.

Some of the joint activities included: a presentation by the Fire Department and the Ichud Hatzalah Motorcycle Brigade, a live broadcast on Kol Chai Radio, an exotic creatures show and more. During the uplifting Shabbos spent there as well, the rousing sounds of Nishmas emanating against the stunning mountainous view, took on extra meaning!

The memories and after-effects of this retreat remain with the residents for many months, infusing them with renewed to deal with their daily challenges.
