On December 22, forty students from Yeshivat Mevaseret Tzion joined us to volunteer – twenty at our hostel in Har Nof and twenty at two Supported Housing apartments in Har Nof. There was spirited singing and dancing and delicious food, and parents of the residents joined the festivities as well. We are so grateful to these bochrim for bringing the spirit of Chanukah to our boys!

On the last day of Chanukah, 60 girls from Machon Shoshanat Yerushalim Seminary joined the Women’s Vocational Program for their Chanukah party. It is impossible to describe the Chabad spirit of the seminary girls! There was a beautiful skit, charade games, and electrifying dancing. Each Seminary girl had her arm wrapped around a woman from Seeach Sod! A beautiful lunch of salad, pizza, and dessert was enjoyed by all. You must must come back soooooon!

On December 26^th, 100 girls from Chemdas Seminary toured our Maoz Yerushalayim elementary and high school campus, treating our students to an amazing Chanukah play. There was unbelievable enthusiasm in the air, with everyone clapping, singing, and dancing away! Chemdas, you truly  brought the light and spirit of Chanukah to our girls. Thank you!

On December 25^th, the third day of Chanukah, 50 girls from Bnos Sara Seminary visited the Ashira school in Ramot. With supplies in hand, they captivated the girls by preparing a beautiful carnival, and

they furthered entertained the students with a beautiful Chanukah skit. Thank you!

On December 24^th, girls from the Mesoras Rochel Seminary put on a play, “The Middos Machine,” for the students at Ashira and Maoz Yerushalayim and the women in our Therapeutic Day-Hab Center and Vocational Program.

On the second night of Chanuka, a special party was held at the Armanot Chen Hall in Bnei Brak for the participants in Seeach Sod’s vocational program in the city. The owners of the hall – who employ a group of the men in the program – invited to the celebration hundreds of men who work in neighborhood businesses or as part of guided groups in industrial workshops. 

We celebrated Chanuka with great joy in all of our programs!

The women recently travelled to Ikea, where they enjoyed buying things for their apartment.
