Ki Tov Seminary
18.2.2020
On February 18th, 50 girls from Ki Tov Seminary came to Seeach Sod for a special experience. They toured Seeach Sod's Ma'oz Yerushalayim school and met with Chani Aloni, a physical therapist, who explained how she works together with other therapists to help the students advance and thrive. The seminary students helped the Seeach Sod girls work on a beautiful art project, which was followed by electrifying dancing. Thank you to Ki Tov Seminary principal, Mrs. Chana Kitov, for inspiring her students to give to others!

Singer Yaakov Shwekey Brings Joy to R. and Her Friends
The counselors at Seeach Sod’s Rehabilitative Day-Hab Center fulfilled a dream for R., who always responds enthusiastically, although non-verbally, upon hearing the songs of Yaakov Shwekey.
Spiritual Uplift at Yeshivat Otzar HaTorah
The days of “Shovevim” are days of spiritual uplift in all yeshivot, and Otzar HaTorah is no different. Over the course of this time period, students are involved in a special character development program, which includes reports regarding behavior at home, prizes, and lotteries.
Waiting for the Sprouts at Otzar Yerushalayim
At Talmud Torah Otzar Yerushalayim, staff use a wide range of professional tools to help their students advance, including a therapeutic gardening club! The students enjoyed working with the soil this month, after the much needed rainfall, raking, weeding, digging, and planting bulbs and flower seeds. Now they just have to wait to see the results of their efforts!
A Special Mothers’ Evening at Maoz Yerushalayim
All of Seeach Sod’s programs actively pursue continued professional training and outreach.
A Happy Day for Shira and Dana!
An important component of Seeach Sod’s Supported Community Housing Program is the maintenance of the connection between the residents and their family members. One means of advancing this goal is through birthday celebrations held in the apartments.
Tu B’Shvat at Seeach Sod
The students at Yeshivat Otzar HaTorah enjoyed a special Tu B’Shvat tisch with Rav Aharon Samet shlita, who gave brachot and distributed fruit to all of the young men.
The tisch was accompanied by the music of keyboard player Itzik Weingarten and singer Sendy Dinkel.
Meor Seminary
10.2.2020
On February 10th, 100 girls from Meor Seminary visited Seeach Sod's Ashira program in honor of Tu B'Shvat. It was a tremendous honor to host these students, under the guidance of Rabbi Zecharia Greenwald, a world-renowned educator. The girls were given a tour and a glimpse into the education of the students with intellectual disabilities. The students very much enjoyed painting their trees in honor of Tu B’Shvat.
You Can Count on Me!
