Remote Learning at Seeach Sod for students as well as Parental Support
From the onset of the Corona crisis Seeach Sod understood the acute need to provide a remote educational solution.
For this purpose, telephone hotlines and an online system were established.
These solutions offer plenty of activities, speeches and tutorials.
Content is updated on a regular basis, with Passover content now being replaced by Sefiras Ha'omer, the field of professional education contains material from speech therapists, occupational therapists, physical therapists as well as lessons delivered by teachers directly to students.
The system can be accessed by visiting the Seeach Sod website where, in addition, plenty of print-at-home material can be found. Phone numbers for the telephone hotline:

In honor of Rosh Chodesh Adar, Bnos Chava Seminary chose to put on their annual play – usually performed for the general community – for the girls of Seeach Sod! It isn't every day that our students are treated to such a super professional play. The highlight of the play was the beautiful song the seminary composed about Seeach Sod.
A huge thank you to Bnos Chava principal Mrs. Kreiny Silver for her efforts on behalf of our students. When the video of the play is ready, we will be sure to send it to all the parents so that they can shep nachas from their daughters’ hard work.

19.2.2020
On February 19th, 15 boys from Ohr Saymach's South African program participated in a tour of Seeach Sod's Beit Metzudot program. Ohr Somayach's
21.2.2020
On February 21st, Seeach Sod was honored to host Ohr Somayach's Ohr LaGolah program, a unique program headed by Rabbi Alter Klein in which participants learn tools to work in different capacities of Jewish education in the Diaspora. As part of the program, Rabbi Klein felt that it is crucial for the group to see how Seeach Sod is helping disabled individuals in the religious community.
The men were thrilled to hear the singing of Chazan Menachem Eisenbach, and they received a special Kohen’s bracha from Chaim Cohen, who is enfused with enormous simcha despite his many challenges. They also heard the heart-warming singing of Nati Weinstein, an autistic young man.
David Lukin, a social worker at Seeach Sod, gave an informative speech on how Seeach Sod meets the needs of every individual we serve. The group then walked to nearby Beit Metzudot, where they heard from principal Rabbi Moshe Beller about how the school is working to better the lives of severely challenged children.
There's no doubt that Ohr LaGolah members left with a deeper understanding of the special needs community.
