It was with tremendous excitement that Seeach Sod’s students and program participants geared up for the yom tov of Succos. The babies and toddlers in the daycare centers, the children in the preschools, the school students and members of all other programs, each greeted the holiday with age-appropriate preparations.
In all sixty group homes, succahs were built and the residents proudly furnished and decorated them. Over yom tov, the group home residents enjoyed fun activities such as trips and programs and hosting family and friends. And of course, they attended various simchos beis hasho’evah and enjoyed the celebratory atmosphere. The respite program, too, was available for Seeach Sod’s members over the entire yom tov, providing exciting activities that truly made it a special and memorable yom tov.
