Shemittah Assembly at Yeshivah Otzar HaTorah in Bayit v’Gan

The boys of Yeshivah Otzar HaTorah enjoyed an educational assembly introducing the start of the Shemittah year, with a beautiful slide show on the relevant halachos.

Rabbi Avraham Kaufman, director of the yeshivah, delivered the opening address and welcomed the boys to the new Elul zeman. He then called upon Rabbi Yechiel Estherson, for whom this is the third Shemittah cycle as part of the yeshivah staff. As in the past, Rabbi Estherson presented a detailed study program on hilchos Shemitah that will include contests, tests and prizes.

The boys enjoyed watching the beautiful slide-show, and were excited to hear the details of the program awaiting them.

May we all merit to visibly see the Torah’s promise upon the Shemittah year, “I shall command My blessings to you.”
