Shavuot Learning with Fathers and Sons in the Hazon Dov Kollel

The reward of cheesecake and scrumptious seasonal fruits had nothing to do with the seriousness in which father and sons learned together the Monday night before erev Shavuot. Heads leaned into one another with the occasional thumbs-up while driving the importance of a text with or without a sing/song tune.

When it was time to take a break, the musician, Rabbi Avrimi Moshkovitz, and keyboardist, Yoel Engel entertained the participants.

The ceremony was attended and praised by the Admor of Toldos Avraham Yitzchak, shlita, Rabbi Avner Afgin, and Jerusalem Rabbi Yisrael Yifra shlita. Tours were given by the Director of Seeach Sod, Rabbi Shimon Levy.

With the rising sun, fathers and sons had a sense of exhilaration and joy of a mitzvah.
