Shared Learning with the Residents of Beit Tovei Ha’Ir

The boys of Otzar HaTorah – Yerushalayim visited Beit Tovei Ha’ir, a senior care facility in Yerushalayim, to delight the residents by learning and celebrating their siyum maseches with them.

The visit began with the boys teaming up with the senior residents to learn b’chavrusa with them. A siyum maseches was celebrated, after which the boys danced with the residents, “Ashreichem talmidei chachamim… – Fortunate are you, talmidei chachamim, that the words of the Torah are beloved to you!”

After their visit to the nursing home, the boys continued to the kever of the Imrei Emes of Ger, zy”a, whose yahrtzeit is on Shavuos.
