Seeach Sod’s Summer Program Gives Kids with Special Needs get the Full “Summer Experience”

Much can be learned from the Seeach Sod’s summer framework. It speaks to the dedication of the staff and their deep understanding of what the community needs on all levels; physically, emotionally and spiritually.

Every child deserves to experience summer months to the fullest! At Seeach Sod they aim, and achieve, this with summer activities designed to meet the needs of each child’s age and ability. Various summer programs include day care centers, activities and outings for younger students and special retreats for both our male and female residential population.

The boys who live year-round in our residential apartments enjoyed a retreat in Mitzpai Yericho together, while the female students stayed in small groups at various hotels capable of meeting the necessary requirements.

Both got to enjoy what so many of their peers do; an overnight camp experience. In the hands of a highly trained staff that understands the specific needs of each camper, they spend their days on outings, site seeing, swimming and more (including individual camper’s regimented therapies).
