Rosh Chodesh Adar Tish

A special “tish” led by Rabbi Aryeh Deri, head of the Shas party, took place on Rosh Chodesh Adar at the Ma’as. The tish began with the recitation of Shema Yisrael and Tehillim as a continuation to the massive Tefillah rally that had taken place the day before.

After the solemn start, the tish took on a lighter note as the Adar merrymaking began. Avi Sason, a member of the vocational training center, entertained the crowd by imitating various politicians while Chaim Gabbay acted the part of Baba Elkana from the South. CEO Rabbi Shimon Levy spoke about the greatness of these joyous days. Later on, the boys were joined by some distinguished figures, including Rabbi Tzvi Cohen who holds the religious education portfolio in the City Council and Rabbi Yisrael Gliss. The party was enhanced with the singing of Yisrael Kletzkin, Aharon Razel and Moshe Goldman, as well as renowned clarinetist Asher Gabbay.
