Putting light on the subject

Our residential Men’s program had an exciting adventure to the Electric Company of Israel.

On their field trip they learned about electricity, how it works and they had an education on the way the Chashmal Company runs here in Israel. They were taught electricity and voltage safety and why it’s important to save electricity for cost efficiency and health purposes. One resident was appointed in each home to be in charge of “saving the electricity” by being in charge of turning lights off. The men were shown a map of Jerusalem according to electric stations and the men found their own homes on the maps. They had a grand time and came home feeling electrified!
