Bar Mitzvah Party!

The sixth graders of Otzar Yerushalayim are beginning to have Bar Mitzvahs. Last week the class celebrated the first student’s Bar Mitzvah.In honor of this momentum occasion, they went to the Kotel and each student had an Aliyah L’Torah. Chief Rabbi of the Kotel, Rabbi Shmuel Rabinovitz, joined them during the prayers.

The party which took place later that day, in Seeach Sod’ Simcha Hall, was crowded with all the Bar Mitzvah boy’s friends and family! The CEO, Rabbi Shimon Levy, joined in the festivities to give him Brachot. Then the Chief Rabbi of Israel, Rabbi Dovid Lau, came to give him his own blessings! They all danced together and it was really touching. The father of the Bar Mitzvah boy spoke very emotionally about Seeach Sod how grateful he is to Hashem that his son attends Seeach Sod’s programming!
