36th Group home opens for men in Romema
Last week, a Chanukat Habayit was held on 1 Ha’or Street in Romema, for a new home housing six young adults with special needs who are enrolled in Seeach Sod’s day programming.
This marked the 36th home in Seeach Sod’s Supported Housing network. As usual, the home is superbly decorated with classy furniture and comfortable amenities. The families of these young men have waited a long time and it was a true Simcha for the families and of course for Seeach Sod’s staff!
This Chanukahs Habayis was in conjunction with the Hachnasas Sefer Torah Ceremony which took place on June 7th.
The Sefer Torah left from the new apartment and was escorted with dancing and music to its new home: Otzar Yerushalyim Yeshiva on Mem Gimmel. It was very meaningful for the boys to partake in this great occasion!
