These treatment courses often necessitate the use of various equipment and devices such as voice output aids, touch screens, iPads and communication boards. A team of expert psychologists and psychiatrists evaluate and treat students accordingly.<\/p><p dir=\"ltr\">The focal point of the care is to achieve some form of communication with the individual, each in accordance to his\/her capability. If a student is unable to communicate verbally, his\/her therapies will focus on Augmentative and Alternative Communication through the PECS exchange system or ICT (Intellectual Communication Technology) programs.
