Purim Fair – a Signature Form of Integration
As its usual tradition, the students of Ma’oz Yerushalayim, Seeach Sod’s girls’ school, pulled off a fantastic fair in honor of Rosh Chodesh Adar. The fair was attended by children of staff members, students’ siblings and children from the neighborhood.
Our students directed the guests to the various activity rooms and supervised activities in a mature and courteous manner! Despite the large turnout, everything ran in an orderly fashion, thanks to the careful advanced planning of the staff. The fair is a signature example of the community integration Seeach Sod strives to promote: girls with special needs arranging and hosting a fair for children from the community.
Many thanks to the elementary school director Mrs. Lok and to the assistant principal Mrs. Buda, for organizing the highly successful event. Thanks also to Mrs. Fried – director of enrichment clubs, and Mrs. Weisenstern – secretary of the school, and for the logistics team, for ensuring a well-run program!
